Refunds

Everything sold here is digital, so there is nothing to post back. What follows is the whole policy.

Fourteen days, no reason required

If you want your money back within fourteen days of buying, you get it. You do not have to explain yourself, justify the decision, or send anything back.

The fastest route is to reply to your order confirmation email and say the word refund. That email already has your order attached, which is why it is the fastest route. If you no longer have the receipt, the contact form works too — include the name of what you bought and the email address you used.

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. Your bank decides how quickly it lands; usually five to ten business days.

What happens to the thing you bought

Some of what this house sells is a file you download. Once it is on your computer we cannot take it back, and we are not going to pretend otherwise by asking you to promise you deleted it. If you ask for a refund, you get a refund. That is a decision to trust people, and it stands until somebody gives us a reason to change it.

Some of it is a web edition you read on the site. There, access ends when the refund is issued. The free part of the edition stays free, exactly as it always was.

The one condition

If the same person buys and refunds the same thing over and over, we will stop selling to them. That is the only condition, and it exists so the policy above can stay this simple for everybody else.

After fourteen days

Write anyway. If something is broken, or wrong, or not what the page said it was, then fourteen days is not the point and we will sort it out. If you simply changed your mind three months later, the answer is probably no — but nothing here is automated, so ask.

What we will not do

We will not offer store credit instead of your money. We will not charge a fee for changing your mind. We will not make you find a form, open a ticket, or explain yourself to three different people.
