Description
Every event goes wrong in one of four places: the building, the approval, the handoff or the bill. This is one instrument for each, with the money in its Professional Edition: invoices, quotes, change orders and the vendors behind them.
What is in it
- Walk It Twice — The Venue Evaluation System ($19 on its own). A fourteen-page printed field set walked in the order the building gives it to you, and a ten-sheet working file that turns what you measured into occupant load, rental quantities, connected load, load-in labor, flip time and a comparison across four venues. With Venue Reality, the companion that keeps every venue fact with its source.
- This Isn’t What I Pictured — The Design Approval System ($19 on its own). Five decision levels with one named owner each, choices put bounded rather than open, a decision record issued the same day, a dozen lock dates counted back from what suppliers need, and a late change priced instead of absorbed. Nine printable forms and an eight-sheet working file.
- Nobody Told the Florist — The Vendor Handoff System ($19 on its own). One record of the event and a separate brief for every vendor, built only from what that vendor needs. It will not issue a brief built on an unknown measurement or an unapproved decision, keeps every issue, and shows which vendors hold an old one and who has confirmed which version. One file that runs in your browser, offline.
- Where Did the Money Go — Professional Edition ($19 on its own). Everything in Essential, with invoices on their cost lines and a twelve-month payment calendar, vendor scorecards, quotes weighed on more than price, change orders with a scope-creep monitor, sourced benchmarks, purchase scoring, a risk register and a closeout report.
What it costs
Bought one by one at today’s prices, the four come to $76. Together they are $60. That is the price every day, not an offer that ends.
How they work together
They follow the order an event is built in. Walk It Twice settles what the room can actually hold before anyone signs. This Isn’t What I Pictured gets the design approved, with one named owner for each decision, before production commits. Nobody Told the Florist turns the approved plan into a brief for each vendor and keeps track of who holds which version; the venue evidence from Walk It Twice pastes straight into it. Where Did the Money Go carries every commitment into one forecast, so a change reaches the budget before the invoice does. None of them needs the others, and each works on its own.
Who it is for
Planners and producers who run procurement for their events: quotes weighed on more than price, invoices checked against what was committed, and change orders that reach the budget before the invoice does.
If you already own one of the four, buy the others on their own: this price assumes all four are new to you. If you only need the true cost and one forecast, the Essential bundle is enough.
